"OUR CREW IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD AT BREAKING BIKES IN TRUCK BEDS. THAT'S WHAT MAKES US UNIQUELY ABLE TO MAKE THE ONLY SOLUTION THAT STOPS THAT."

STERLING PETERSEN, FOUNDER

OUR STORY

Welcome to big days

  • THE EARLY YEARS

Big Days started long before we ever released a rack. Our founder, Sterling Petersen, spent years building trails in the Utah backcountry and breaking bikes along the way. Tailgate pads snapped frames. Hitch racks ejected bikes. Everything scratched, bent, or failed.

When Sterling bought a Ford Raptor, it became obvious: if traditional racks & setups couldn’t survive a normal truck, they definitely wouldn’t survive that cattle guard he liked doing at 80 mph.

  • THE BIG IDEA

    That's when everything clicked:

Why does carrying bikes always make my bumhole pucker?

    The mission was simple:

Build a rack that lets you send your truck with the whole crew’s bikes in the back.

    No scratches. No broken frames.

  • BUILT FROM SCRATCH

We rethought everything. Bikes don’t belong hanging off the back, they belong in the truck, between the axles. Trucks have suspension. Use it.

After thousands of hours of testing and real-world abuse, we built a bed-mounted system that locks bikes in place with zero contact, zero rub, and zero compromise, especially on aesthetics.

Every part is designed and manufactured in Utah, within an hour of where it was born.

  • BUILT TO EVOLVE

Since then, hundreds of riders have pushed it across deserts, backroads, and long road trips. And we haven’t stopped building. Bikes, e-bikes, motos, skis, boards, lights. Look, if it belongs on your truck, we’re building a better way to carry it.

    This isn’t a one-and-done product. It’s a platform.

    And we’re just getting started.

    Here’s to Big Days ahead.
